Hot Mess Mondays: Not Everything Is A Publicity Stunt

Good morning everyone! As always, I hope that everyone had a splendid weekend. Now, let’s get straight to the countdown!

1) T.I. for his newest jail sentence.

Just last Friday, T.I. found out that he would be serving 11 more months in prison for drug possession back in September. Yikes! Honestly, I don’t know what to say about this one. T.I. has only been out of jail for his last crimes for a few months. Such a mess…

p.s. Even though T.I. was absolutely stupid in this matter, I think it’s also a hot mess that he gets harsher punishments than some other celebrities who have made this countdown in the past.

Here is a comment I found about the T.I. situation.

“Lindsay Lohan violated probation also and she isn’t in jail, she is in rehab. What is wrong with this picture? Paris Hilton gets busted all of the time with drugs, isn’t she still on probation? Why isn’t anyone asking these questions?” – Anonymous

Anonymous, those are my thoughts exactly. At least T.I. showed up for his court date unlike Ms. Lohan, who ended up missing hers because she was out of the country. Just sayin…

2) The American public for thinking everything is a publicity stunt.

If you’ve been following the T.I. story, then you know that last week the rapper also made headlines for helping a suicidal man off the roof of a building in Atlanta. After T.I. convinced the man not to end his life, people claimed that it was all a publicity stunt to make T.I. look good before his court appearance. Honestly, I just think that people can be so ridiculous sometimes. No one is going to stage a suicide attempt for good publicity. Also, have we really lost THAT much faith in one another? Sometimes people are genuinely good people, and I believe that about T.I. despite his criminal history.

3) Bishop Eddie Long and his church for just being an overall mess.

Apparently, the bishop is not the only one causing New Birth Missionary trouble.  Last week, Theybf.com reported that a woman by the name of Tama Colson was suing the church for failing to address her claims that Michael Caesar, a prominent church staff member, showed her inappropriate pictures of his penis as well as had other inappropriate interactions with women in the church. Smh…No words.

4) Kanye West for always complaining.

It looks like Kanye’s a little annoyed that people don’t like his latest artwork for his album cover. The cover depicts a naked Kanye being straddled by some white “phoenix.” Although, I can understand Kanye’s frustrations as an artist wanting to freely express himself,  I can also understand why some companies might think the picture is a little risky to be put on shelves…Anyways, wherever there is Kanye West, there is always controversy, and I’m a little tired of it.

5) The Situation for being a terrible situation.

Jersey Shore never fails to entertain me, but last week I was completely disgusted my Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s behavior on the show. Twice, Mike failed at being a wingman for his friend Pauly D, who happens to be my fave on the show. Not to mention, Mike has proven time and time again that he is much too aggressive with the opposite sex. Not every woman wants you Mike. Get off and get over it!

With that said, I like The Situation. lol

Hot Mess Mondays: The Men Are Dominating

Not in a good way…

Good morning boys and girls!

I’m feeling a little under the weather this morning, but that’s why it’s good that it’s a Hot Mess Monday. lol Now, I know that Hot Mess Mondays usually focus on the ridiculousness that went down the week before, but I’ve come across some pretty interesting news this morning that has to make this list.

Let’s get it!

1) Any celebrity male that is accused of pedophilia.

This morning on Hip Hop Wired, it was reported that Raz B, former member of the R&B boyband B2K, was speaking out against celebrity pedophiles, including Eddie Long, Chris Stokes, and Marques Houston. Marques Houston?!

For those of you who are less familiar with Marques Houston’s music career, you may know him as the lovable Roger from the hit TV show Sister Sister. Now, this is the first time I have heard anything like this  about him, but who knows with these celebrities sometimes…As for Eddie Long and Chris Stokes, they both have been publicly accused of such misbehavior in the past. In fact, Eddie Long is dealing with his decision to have “Spiritual Sons” right now. Smh…

2) Alicia Keys for acting like she’s done nothing wrong.

It’s old news that Ms. Keys got together with her husband, producer Swizz Beatz, before he was divorced from his wife. However, now that Alicia is pregnant, she’s been seen flaunting her baby bump all over the place. Now, I know that the girl can’t escape the cameras, but the story of how her marriage and baby bump all came together equals serious judgment. Maybe Alicia should go live a quieter life for a while? Just a thought…

p.s. Ms. Keys is also a hot mess for never releasing a video for “Put It In A Love Song.” When I first started this blog, there were stills of her and Beyonce making the video in Brazil. But, where is it, Alicia? Where is it? lol

Anyways…

3) T.I. for facing 14 months prison time.

Honestly, T.I. is just making some pretty stupid decisions. He’ll be on this list until he gets it together.

4) Lil’ Wayne for also making stupid decisions while already in jail.

Not too long ago, Wayne was ordered to solitary confinement for being caught with an mp3 player at his latest home on Rikers Island. Wayne will remain in solitary confinement until he is released on Nov. 4th. A mess….If anything, Wayne can take pride in the fact that he still continues to sell plenty of music while incarcerated. Unfortunately, his success on the Billboard charts does not excuse his behavior.

5) Christopher Columbus for having a holiday.

Okay, so this entry is a little extra…lol However, seeing as though today is Columbus Day, I think it’s a hot mess that after all of the truth that has come out about Christopher Columbus that we still honor him with his own holiday. Sure, he discovered the Americas for Spain, but let’s not forget that plenty of people (i.e. the Native Americans) had reached America long before Christopher. Not to mention, Christopher and his men were outrageously cruel to the people they came into contact with.

Hot Mess Mondays: Bishop Eddie Long Becomes #1

It’s that time again folks. The celebrity gods have spoken, and five hot messes have made today’s list. Let’s get it!

1)Bishop Eddie Long for being the center of serious allegations.

Whether you’re in the black community or not, you probably have heard about the recent sex  allegations being made about the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church bishop Eddie Long. Four young men in their early twenties have come forward, claiming that Long took advantage of them and had inappropriate sexual relationships with them. I don’t know if Pastor Long is guilty of inappropriate conduct with these men, but by now, every pastor should know that you do not take a group of boys under your wing and then call them your “Spiritual Sons.” That alone is enough for disaster and suspicion…

2) Bruno Mars for getting arrested for coke possession.

I love Bruno Mars, but when you get arrested in the same city as Paris Hilton for the same reasons she did, and only a week after she did, you ARE a hot mess. I don’t care if you do have the #1 song in the country.

3) Lindsay Lohan for going back to rehab.

Poor Lindsay will forever remain on this list until I get tired of reporting news about her, which is about to be real soon…Although I think that it’s great that Lindsay is checking into rehab, I still think my girl is a hot mess. She’s already been to rehab numerous times. Not to mention, no one in Hollywood is going to hire her now. Hollywood has been very gracious to the actress in my opinion, but she keeps messing up. By the time all of this is said and done, Lindsay will either have to make a Robert Downey Jr. type comeback, or die broke and umemployed…Truth hurts. 😦

4) Kid Cudi for getting sentenced to two days in jail.

Apparently, Cudi was arrested back in June. Last week, he pleaded guilty for possessing illegal narcotics on that day. Honestly, I am so tired of celebrities getting arrested for drugs. Do something else guys to make my news a little more exciting like steal!

p.s. Don’t worry. I don’t condone stealing or any other criminal acts. lol

5) Rihanna for not going away!

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I cannot stand Rihanna. I think the girl has some talent, but in recent years, she’s been relying a little too much on that pretty face of hers. Every time I watch her live, I’m disappointed, and it sucks because I like her songs…Anyways, apparently the music video for “Only Girl In The World,” will be released soon. The picture above is taken from Rihanna’s twitter and her video shoot.

Anyways, that concludes today’s countdown. I hope that Eddie Long is not guilty for the sake of all of those standing behind him. I also hope that the celebs get off the cocaine, but realistically speaking that will never happen…
